‘Literary Links’ – Guided Walk

This is a joint event with Evesham Walking Festival. As we admire the stunning views on this 5-mile walk you’ll have a chance to pause awhile and learn something of the history of Dumbleton Hall, some of its literary links, including Mrs Gaskell, as well as hearing about Sir Patrick Leigh Fermor, who lived and is buried in Dumbleton, and is regarded by many as Britain’s greatest adventure travel writer.

Afterwards, why not treat yourself to lunch at the Gardener’s Arms in Alderton, our finishing point.

Please ensure you are wearing suitable footwear and bring clothing to suit whatever the weather. No dogs allowed.
