Droitwich in Bloom is Droitwich Spa’s fantastic new flower trail.
Eight floral creations, each with their own theme, have been installed around the town for visitors to hunt out and enjoy. The trail will run from 15 May to 1 September 2023.
Last year’s displays included a heart, rainbow bench, roman helmet, photo frame and hanging wisteria. Most of the same displays will be back for 2023 with four new additions.
Strike a pose with the eight installations and share your photos on Facebook and Instagram by tagging @ValeandSpa and #DroitwichInBloom.
Collect different art rubbings along the way using our free activity booklet which can be found at Droitwich Heritage Centre, Bluebells Florist or Nelly’s Yard café. Once you have collected all of the rubbings, pop back to one of these locations to receive a sticker and packet of seeds, kindly donated by Webbs!
Half-term fun: For just £1, children can decorate a pot and plant their seeds during crafts sessions at Droitwich Spa Heritage Centre. These will take place from 10am to 4pm between Wednesday 31 May and Friday 2 June.
There is even more to enjoy! Throughout August, children can take part in free floral-themed arts and crafts workshops. A schedule of the workshops can be found via the button below.
Wychavon District Council is committed to supporting our town centres. By creating Droitwich in Bloom together with local florists, Flowers of Elegance, and Bluebells Florist, we are hoping to increase footfall and encourage spend in independent businesses.
Droitwich is Bloom is a celebration of spring and an opportunity to come together with friends and family and take a few snaps along the way. We were overwhelmed with the success of last year’s trail and hope 2023’s will continue to instil positivity in the community.
We want as many people as possible to enjoy the Droitwich in Bloom Trail and to make it bigger and better than before, but to do that, we need your help. Here are some ways you can help…
Thank you to everyone who has supported Droitwich in Bloom!
