Evesham is set to become the Morris capital of the UK again in 2023 with up to 500 dancers and musicians bringing their own unique spectacle of merriment to towns and villages across the Vale. With vibrant costumes, captivating rhythms and striking displays, this joyous event is a real treat for the senses.

On Saturday 24 June, dancers will tour the area, entertaining visitors and onlookers along the way at places such as Broadway, Droitwich and Bretforton.

The highlight of the weekend is the lively Morris procession starting in Evesham’s Abbey Park, winding it’s way up Bridge Street and into Market Square where everyone will be treated to plenty of performaces from some of the UK’s best Morris sides.

The coveted ‘Evesham Stick’ will be awarded and presented to the team deemed to have shown excellence in promoting the spirit of the Morris over the weekend.

This is a free event and everyone is invited along to cheer for the procession in Bridge Street from 11.30am on Sunday 25 June and afterwards to watch the displays in Market Square.
