Scutari, October 1854. The Crimean War rages and a steady stream of sick and wounded British soldiers are brought to Scutari hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, 6000 of them will die from the squalid conditions. Dare you face the surgeon? Could you put up with the rats? Could you be one Florence Nightingale’s nurses? Do you think you might have cholera?
If you answered yes to any of these then you’re the perfect candidate to come and convalesce with the sick and dying. Speak to a soldier from the Siege of Sevastopol, check out or Crimean War collection and undergo a Victorian-style operation to try and survive your wounds!
