Join us for another excellent Holland House Lunch and talk.

Gloucestershire Observed – events inside and outside the county as recorded by inhabitants and visitors to the county in their journals and diaries. 500 years of human nature from coach travel to the driving test, marriage, crime and punishment, and problems with alcohol. Do we progress over the ages? This talk is based on 1,000 diaries from 50 diarists in the Gloucestershire Archives.

Tony Conder is a very popular Festival speaker, usually entertaining us with tales of canals, canal people, and railways.

Two-course lunch is served at 1.00 pm (special diets can be accommodated), but arrive early to get a drink and enjoy the lovely house and gardens. The talk will commence about 2.00 pm.

Tickets: £20 via Holland House: Email: enquiries@hollandhouse.org, or Tel: 01386 860330
