Battle of Evesham

An action-packed weekend of Living History and Medieval Mayhem, set on the banks of the River Avon in historic Evesham. Witness over 400 soldiers and mounted knights recreate the Battle of Evesham in which 5,000 men lost their lives fighting to uphold the Magna Carta, resulting in the formation of the English Parliament.
Starting with a Grand Parade of knights and re-enactors winding through Evesham Town Centre, followed by two main battles, weapon demonstrations, have a go archery, medieval cookery, crafts and entertainment. Explore over 115 medieval and modern craft, food and drink stalls, plus bar and children’s fun fair.
