Earlier this month we checked out Mumma Moo’s – Evesham’s delicious new milkshake shop and, wow, weren’t we in for a treat!

We can personally recommend the milk chocolate Kinder Bueno which was divine but if that’s not your cup of tea, then fear not because Mumma Moo’s boasts over 80 flavours. We spoke with the owners Scott and Tracy who told us:

“Our best sellers are Kinder Bueno, Oreo, Skittles, Malteser and Aero Mint but we can blend any chocolate bar, sweet or biscuit, just ask us!”

Customers are at the forefront of this family-run business, which is situated next to Delicious Cafe on Vine Street, as Scott told us:

“One of our regulars asked if we had butterscotch. We didn’t, so I ordered some in and now we do butterscotch. We’re very accommodating here.”

The family is fairly new to the area having moved to Evesham just 3 and a half years ago and “is there a milkshake shop here?” was the first question Scott’s kids asked him when they arrived. It got him thinking ‘what if we opened one?’

“The kids love it – they help out in the shop and are always keen to do some taste testing. As you can imagine, they’re very popular at school as well! Opening a shop has been a dream of ours for the past four years so when it finally started to become a reality, we were thrilled! We’ve done most of the work ourselves except for the gas and electrics, of course; in fact, my wife, Tracy, designed the shop. It has been hard work, working in the evenings after the day job.”

While Mumma Moo’s stocks big name brands like Cadbury and Nestlé, Scott and Tracy try to support and shop local when they can, believing independents to provide a better service. They actually display work from Evesham-based photographers around their shop.

As well as selling a load of tasty milkshakes, Mumma Moo’s also sells hot and soft drinks, smoothies and an assortment of unique snacks including Jelly Belly candy, lemon meringue bars and cookie dough. It caters for vegans and most allergies too.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received so far and we’re eager to keep our customers interested. We’re planning to launch gift cards soon and perhaps explore offering desserts… watch this space!”
