1. Confetti Fields – opening soon

Acres of beautiful delphiniums bloom on the Wyke Manor Estate just outside of Pershore in Worcestershire every July, creating the ultimate Instagrammable location. The flower fields are a spectacular sight where you can enjoy rows of colourful flowers, winding paths and views to Bredon Hill.

FACT: Flower petal confetti from Wyke Manor Estate has been used at tens of thousands of weddings worldwide, including those of celebrities and Royalty!

The provisional open dates for this summer are 1 – 10 July 2022, but these can vary depending on how the flowers grow. Tickets will go on sale in June, after the dates have been confirmed. Check out The Real Flower Petal Confetti Company’s website for more info.

2. Sacred Hearts Church

Located just a 15-minute walk away from the town centre is one of Droitwich Spa’s must-sees and hidden gems – the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Catherine of Alexandria. The church’s walls are lined with impressive mosaics that depict a part of Droitwich Spa’s history; one panel shows the Bishop of Chichester journeying to Droitwich Spa to bless revive its salt springs.

3. The Claude Choules, Pershore

The Claude Choules is a new-ish restaurant and bar in Pershore and it comes with fabulous views. Take a seat on their balcony and gaze upon this wonderful Georgian town while you tuck into a build-your-own pizza, craft beer and cocktails.

4. Droitwich Spa Lido

What’s summer without a picture by a pool? If you’re yearning for the islands of the Adriatic at home, Droitwich Spa could provide what you’re looking for. Set amongst magnificent trees in the stunning Lido Park, this inland saltwater swimming pool is heated to 23 degrees Celsius, the same temperature as the Mediterranean. Not only is it an affordable fab trip out for the family, it’s also the perfect place to be to get pics for your ‘gram.

5. Pershore’s riverside pub gardens

Pershore is blessed with its beautiful river which offers a peaceful backdrop for those who dine in pub gardens like The Star Inn. One of this pub’s favourite dishes is its fish and chips and what better setting than to eat it by the river! Snap a photo of your food and drink in front of this beautiful setting.

6. JellyPickleJam, Evesham

JellyPickleJam is a quintessentially British café tucked away in Vines Mews, Evesham. This pretty vintage tea room’s interior is inspired by Alice in Wonderland and visitors can loose themselves in a rabbit hole if wonderful unexpected products including sewing materials, clothing and giftware. There’s more to JellyPickleJam than its tasty afternoon tea, but don’t take our word for it, check it out for yourself.

7. Diamond Coffee Bar, Droitwich Spa

“Coffee now, cocktails later” is this cafe/bar’s motto and it’s one we love. Diamond Coffee Bar makes a modern addition to the historic town with its Insta-worthy foliage wall, neon lighting and contemporary seating. It boasts more than 10 very reasonably priced (and aesthetically-pleasing!) cocktails including new ‘Rainbow Paradise’, a divine-looking Biscoff frappe and vegan cake, what’s not to like!

8. Thai Emerald, Evesham

Thai Emerald is a truly unique restaurant and one worth ‘gramming’! It’s wooden walls, golden sculptures and botanical plants will enable you to escape the everyday and feel like you’re on holiday. It’s the perfect setting and the dishes are cute too, often found with vegetables cut into delicate floral shapes.

9. Abbey Park, Evesham

A charming picnic spot ideal for family photos. Take a stroll through the park gardens that boast beautiful lawns, lots of lovely old trees and a lily pond that adds to the sense of tranquillity. See significant historic sites like the ruins before making your way down to walk by the river and see the ducks. Then head back up for a bite to eat in front of the Bell Tower.

Whilst you’re in Evesham, walk into the town to explore Market Square, the town’s pretty courtyard which is home to an array of cafes and restaurants such as Orto Lounge, Herbies Coffee House and Stirrups.

10. Pershore Abbey

What better way to view Pershore than from above! Climb the towers of this one thousand-year-old abbey to take in sights on Pershore and the surrounding area with a guided tour. Tours lasts between 30-40 minutes and must be booked. More information on the tours.

11. Broadway Tower

Our list wouldn’t be complete without Broadway! The stunning honey hues of Broadway encapsulates everything that is quintessential about the Cotswolds, and it is no wonder it has been referred to as the jewel in the Cotswold’s crown. Look out for lovely wisteria on some of the shops. After you’ve photographed the village, head up to the famous Broadway Tower to take in the views. A selfie with the tower is a must!
